Our Physio-Led Mixed Level Pilates and Instructor-Led classes are suitable for women and men, from beginners to those more experienced in Pilates. Pilates exercises focus on core control, strength and endurance of the back and neck, abdomen, pelvis, shoulders and leg muscles; as well as working on general flexibility, balance and stability. In a mixed level Pilates class, the instructor offers progressions/levels for the traditional Pilates postures, to enable the participant to work at the level of each exercise that is comfortable yet challenging for them. Our class team work closely together to make sure that any health issues are supported, and that our classes meet your goals, to ensure that the maximum benefit is gained from your class.
Classes are small, and socially distanced with up to 10 participants. We ask that you bring your mat and head pillows, and it may be helpful to bring some water. Most participants wear loose clothes and wear socks on the mat.
