Our Spine-Safe Gentle Physio-Led Pilates classes are suitable for women and men. These 45 minute classes focus on weight-bearing Pilates exercises for bone density, postural work, core control, balance, strength, flexibility and endurance. The Spine-Safe classes are also suitable for participants with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
Classes are small, and socially distanced with up to 10 participants. The physiotherapist makes adjustments and progressions for each participant to ensure that the maximum benefit is gained. We ask that you bring your mat and head pillows, and it may be helpful to bring some water. Most participants wear loose clothes and wear socks on the mat.
Classes are booked in short blocks for continuity, but there is the option to remotely access the class via Zoom. Click on the Book Classes link to book your class block.
